Language conflict, a conceptual research book
The objective of this project is to inspire innovative thinking methods, and to transform these ideas into powerful systems of communications.
Language conflict is an attempt to understand how 22 ocial languages function together in India. Tracking back to the events that followed the Independence of India in 1947, the sub-division of the county along linguistic lines have fostered rationalistic perspectives which are hard to resolve today. This book explores the history, politics and the culture of many languages that co-exist in one country, along with the economic situation that pushes people to learn one language over an other.
